It's all an experiment.
I create art with inks and paints that I've made from ingredients found in or near Whatcom County, Washington. Berries, mushrooms, minerals, rocks, blossoms and discarded objects are transformed into the materials for my original paintings. Sometimes I find and collect the ingredients myself and other times I'm invited to gather materials by friends, neighbors and strangers.
